has anyone of you received treatment for an ovarian cyst?
what treatment did you receive? did it work?
wow i was just diagnosed with one and i am a little scared about what they are going to do to me…
I had a hysterectomy 16yrs ago ( I think maybe 15) anyway I had recurring cysts, I had multiple surgeries to remove them and then I had Lupron depot injections. Those injections worked well and they also can do birth control pills which do help a bit.
I hope this helps . Some people will have a constant problem with them and it can become quite painful given the size they can grow to. I had one that was 8 cm by the time I had surgery….ouch.
I haven’t received treatment but wanted to make it clear I’m following this question coz of my sister’s condition, and starring it so many other women have a chance to see it.

MYSELF I HAD A 3 BY 5 CENTIMETER CYST ON MY OVARIES THE PAIN WAS SO BAD I WENT TO MY DOCTOR. HE GAME ME A SHOT TO HELP SHRINK THE CYST. I THOUGHT IT WORKED BUT IT DIDN’T THE PAIN BECAME MORE INTENSE. I GOT MY PERIOD ONE DAY AND COULD NOT MOVE I ASKED MY HUSBAND TO CALL 911 I GOT ADMITTED TO FIND OUT THE CYST WAS ABOUT TO BURST GOT THERE IN TIME
