http://www.MeTheDoctor.com/ovarian — Ovarian Cysts — The Cure for Functional Ovarian Cysts
Many women suffer from functional ovarian cysts.
This is a sac that develops on the actual surface of the ovary when a female is ovulating.
There is an egg that matures within the sac.
Once the egg is released, this formation will often go away.
For those that experience the situation where the egg is not emitted from the sac, the formation will close up and will start to swell with the fluid that is contained within the body.
There are two different types of functional based cysts that may develop within the body.
The first type is called “follicular” and the second type is called “luteal”.
If the egg is retained in the sac it is a follicular cyst.
If the egg is released and then the formation swells, it is called a luteal cyst.
There are many uncomfortable symptoms that may be experienced when a female suffers from a functional ovarian cyst.
The most common symptoms include pain in the abdominal area, a late period, abnormal vaginal bleeding, and possibly vomiting.
If the cyst becomes too large, it could burst.
This is typically quite painful for the woman that experiences it.
While there are many medical prescriptions and procedures that may be used to treat functional ovarian cysts, these are often associated with troublesome side effects.

Ok I get lots of yeast infections and ovarian cysts I was just treated for 6 months with diflucan a week after i finished the 6 month treatment I got another infection well its a week after that treatment and i have another one Im very frustrated because with all these infections and in between I keep getting ovarian cysts not little ones either huge ones the smallest so far has been 5cm they are painful and yeast infections are a pain. I’m wondering if there can be a connection between yeast infections and ovarian cysts? Anybody have any idea or been through this or know where to get some info? I am seeing my dr a specialist who deals with only female vaginal problems but she is just as baffled as i am…
I am taking meds exactly as told and still can’t get rid of them. I can’t use birth control because of other health conditions because i have a higher rate of having a stroke. Im really frustrated and i am seeing a specialist but shes still deciding what to do next shes going to call today with some answers…
I would recommend switching to another gynecologist who specializes in ovarian cysts. I used to have both the cysts and infections, until they switched me to a lower dose of hormone on my birth control which virtually stopped it. I still get the occassional infection twice a year but it used to be back to back just as you’re describing, are you taking your medication completely for the infections? Because if not that could be the source, good luck
